Dr. LaDonna Brown
TREASURER
Dr. LaDonna Brown is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist who works throughout the Maryland and Virginia region for North American Partners in Anesthesia. She initially attended East Carolina University in Greenville, NC, where she received a bachelor’s in nursing. Later, she completed a Master’s in Nurse Anesthesiology from the University of New England.
While working full-time at the University of Maryland/Shock Trauma Medical Center, she pursued her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Vanderbilt University. La Donna has a passion for multimodal analgesia and pain reducing techniques in the perioperative setting. She is currently a subject matter expert for patho/pharmacological coursework development.
La Donna is an active member of several organizations, including the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, where she is a member of the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery Special Interest Group and Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society. La Donna has a passion for performing arts, fine dining, and exploring other cultures through travel.
