Moses Akwobugi is a passionate nurse scientist with experience in health research and clinical practice. As a second-year PhD student at the University of Maryland School of Nursing, Baltimore, his research focuses on addressing disparities in palliative care utilization among racial minorities in the United States, particularly in African American communities. He is committed to making palliative care readily accessible and equitable to this marginalized group. He has a strong conviction that palliative care will improve the quality of life for patients and their families.  He brings both academic insight and clinical experience to his work.
