Dr. Danielle McCamey is a board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with clinical expertise in critical care, perianesthesia, and palliative care. She serves as Associate Dean for Clinical Partnerships and Innovation and Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland School of Nursing, where she leads strategy related to clinical partnerships, workforce development, and innovation.

Her expertise focuses on advancing nursing workforce diversity and development as a mechanism for eliminating health inequities, with particular emphasis on academic–practice partnerships that strengthen clinical education infrastructure. She is the Founder and CEO of DNPs of Color, a national organization advancing leadership, mentorship, and professional development for DNP-prepared nurses and future DNPs of color.

Dr. McCamey is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American College of Chest Physicians, and the Academy of Diversity Leaders in Nursing.
